Ex-Moonbug · Growth systems for YouTube creators

Your channel doesn’t have a content problem.
It has a behavior problem.

We redesign how your videos get clicked, watched and paid for, so a channel that already pulls views becomes a business that can afford to take swings.

If this sounds like your channel

Views without a business underneath them.

01

The million-view video that didn’t pay for itself

Big numbers, thin margins. The format costs more than the video earns, so every hit is also a loss.

02

Formats borrowed from a bigger creator

A 1:1 copy works once. Without a mechanic of your own, the audience has no reason to come back for the sequel.

03

The channel runs on your energy, not a system

Scripts, packaging and decisions all route through you. When you’re tired, the channel is tired.

04

No room to take a swing

The ideas that would 10x the channel need a buffer you don’t have yet. So you play safe and stay flat.

The Zero Principle

Human behavior is rarely logical. It is highly predictable.

Most growth advice treats a channel like a machine: more uploads, more keywords, more data. We start at Zero and treat it like what it is: a crowd of people deciding, in under a second, whether to click, keep watching and come back.

We don’t look for more traffic. We look for the psychological friction stopping the traffic you already have, then design packaging, retention and monetization around how people actually behave.

The result is a channel that compounds instead of one that needs a hit every month.

What we build

Three systems. One flywheel.

Packaging that gets the click

Title, thumbnail and concept frameworks built on cognitive ease: the same CTR logic we used to launch channels for global audiences at Moonbug, tuned to your niche and your face.

  • —Concept-first idea pipeline
  • —Thumbnail and title testing frameworks
  • —Format design you can repeat, not just copy

Retention you can script

Scripting frameworks that use hooks, anchoring and open loops as operational assets, so a 20-minute video holds without you reinventing the structure every week.

  • —Hook and payoff architecture
  • —Templates your editor and writer can run
  • —Your voice, protected on purpose

Monetization that isn’t just AdSense

Independent revenue layers (memberships, products, licensed distribution) designed so profitability grows alongside views and funds the next big swing.

  • —Revenue stack that doesn’t depend on one sponsor
  • —Cost-per-video modelling before you film
  • —A risk budget for the ideas that could 10x

Strategic cases

What the system looks like on a real channel.

Each case shows the friction we found, what we changed, and what moved. Numbers are shared in the audit call.

Case 01 · Finance Founder-dependent
→ flywheel.

Kamikaze Cash

US finance · YouTube

The friction. A high-output finance channel that depended entirely on the founder for scripts and ideas, with retention squeezed between “too logical” (boring) and “too chaotic” (losing advertiser trust).

What we built. A proprietary scripting framework using behavioral nudges, retention hooks and psychological anchoring to simplify complex options trading, treated as an operational asset the team could run. Plus an independent monetization layer: monthly memberships, so revenue no longer leaned only on sponsors.

What moved. Sustainable high-frequency publishing, retention that held through dense edutainment, and a founder with time back to grow the brand.

Case 02 · Kids & family One playbook.
Every market.

Moonbug Entertainment

Kids & family · Global

The friction. Launching new channels at scale while keeping the brand consistent for audiences who click for very different cultural reasons.

What we built. High click-through-rate packaging frameworks that prioritised cognitive ease, so a thumbnail reads instantly to a four-year-old in any market and still looks like the brand.

What moved. New channels launched on a repeatable playbook instead of a one-off creative push, with brand consistency held across demographics.

How an engagement works

Audit first. Then we build the thing that compounds.

1

Strategic Friction Audit

We go through your last 20 videos, your costs and your analytics and name the two or three behavioral barriers between you and the next order of magnitude.

2

Format redesign

We take your best-performing idea and rebuild the mechanic so it is yours: packaging, structure and a cost model that make it profitable to repeat.

3

Systemize

Scripting templates, packaging frameworks and a revenue stack your team runs without you in every decision.

4

Compound

Profit builds a buffer. The buffer funds bigger swings. Bigger swings bring the exponential views, with the system catching them.

A good fit

  • —You already get views; the business behind them is the problem
  • —You want to keep your voice, not become a template
  • —You are willing to change how videos get made, not just how they look

Not a fit

  • —You want a thumbnail designer or an editor for hire
  • —You want more uploads rather than better economics
  • —You need results next week
Start at 0 Ahan · Founder, Zero Principle

Founder

Ahan. Ex-Moonbug. Started at Zero.

I spent my time at Moonbug working out why a child in one country clicks a thumbnail a child in another ignores, and turning that into frameworks a whole content org could run. Zero Principle is the same work applied to independent creators: you have the audience and the talent; I build the system that makes it pay.

I only take two engagements a quarter because this is not a service you subscribe to. It is a rebuild, and it needs attention.
